The obvious advantages with rapid prototyping are very fast (1-7 days) and cost-efficient if the quantity is very small (1-20 pieces), and not too critical of dimension and cosmetic requirement. It is frequently used on initial assembly or geometry design review.

With the development of 3D printing technology and a variety of materials material of 3D printing and urethane casting, its application has become more and more popular with prototypes manufacturing.

CNC machining is a method to make prototype and also frequently be used to make volume precision parts if there is some limit to run with molds.

In INTTN, there is 10 machines in house and 10 different size precision machines in our shared factories. It does include traditional 3 axises, also 4 and 5 axises machines.

For some sheet metal parts, we can use laser cutting machines to cut out shape quickly and then bending and stamping holes or post machining, that’s efficient method to create some prototype.
