Today, Aboriginal owned businesses Indigenous National Technology & Telecom Network Pty. Ltd. (INTTN) have collaborated together to enhance supply of technology and telecom products to Aboriginal businesses throughout Victoria.
INTTN was established in 2016 and its core business is primarily the supply of technology and telecom solutions to Australian corporations and communities including Aboriginal businesses. In a planned announcement, INTTN CEO, Jade Miller said "INTTN will supply top-quality products from world-leading-well-known brands and our customers will save a significant amount of money and enjoy a better overall customer experience" as the company enters a $120 billion combined technology and telecommunications market in Australia.
"After listening to complaints of Aboriginal organisations, businesses, communities and people about the difficulties, barriers and poor customer experiences in supply of technology and telecom products along with barriers of being able to partner and collaborate with the technology and telecom industry, INTTN conducted its due diligence, business and market research which confirmed there was a clear gap in the market but also an enormous amount of room for improvement where supply to Aboriginal businesses are concerned. In a lot of cases Aboriginal organisations, businesses, communities and people are paying higher prices and receiving a very poor customer experience. INTTN has dedicated itself to solving this problem," Mr. Miller said in a joint media-release with Kinaway.
Kinaway is an Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce based in Melbourne through which Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander businesses and entrepreneurs have a collective voice both within the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander business community and the general business community. Kinaway seeks to grow the capacity of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business sector, entrepreneurs and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business leadership thereby having a positive and direct influence in increasing the economic participation by the Aboriginal community in its contribution to the Victorian economy. The primary focus of the Company is the provision of policy, advocacy and representation services to Aboriginal businesses and entrepreneurs. In addition, the Company will provide services, support and/or products to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses and entrepreneurs to be commercially sustainable, profitable and innovative. In a joint announcement Kinaway CEO, Paul Kruspe said Kinaway seeks to work with Industry partners like INTTN whose ethos to support Aboriginal Businesses aligns with the Kinaway vision and mission which makes for a natural partnership opportunity that will improve and enhance the supply chain to Aboriginal Businesses.
"We welcome INTTN to the membership of Kinaway and look forward to duplicating this kind of supply chain innovation with our other industry partners to bring an array of mutual benefits to our membership including savings and an improved business experience. Building these kinds of collaborative and innovative relationships is a win-win for everybody." Mr. Kruspe said.
